John A. Uzzi

John’s 27-year consulting practice has two areas of focus.  A large portion of his experience is consulting to the large, multi-faceted organizations navigating large scale change through improvement initiatives. His clients routinely experience breakthrough gains through job and work process design, work unit and organizational design and development and Six Sigma deployment.

His work has focused on the financial services industry with clients including AXA Financial, Vanguard, Franklin-Templeton, Chubb, AIG, Citicorp and GE Capital among many others. Non-financial service clients include Johnson & Johnson, Dow Chemical and the Federal Aviation Administration. Projects typically gain significant improvement in associate and management productivity, quality of service to customers, increases in intrinsic work motivation of individuals, reductions in operating costs and customer and shareholder value creation.

The second focus of John’s work deals with strategic planning processes and events for non-profit organizations and small businesses. By designing and facilitating participative activities these organizations are able to make breakthrough improvement in market share and organizational performance. Clients for this work have included various chapters of the American Red Cross, Home Solutions Inc. and Ruotolo Associates.

He is co-author of the book “Reengineering for Results”, a columnist for the Insurance Advocate, and a contributor to The National Underwriter and Six Sigma Forum magazine. John is a Senior Associate at Deep Customer Connections, Inc.
