8th Annual Report Names Top Carriers7,800 independent agents and brokers assessed the performance of over 200 property and casualty carriers in our 8th annual survey results. In the survey, agents rated how easy it is to place business with carriers based on 11 factors. We are proud to present the top performers in the industry.This year there is a virtual tie for the top spot between three carriers: MEMIC, a workers’ compensation carrier headquartered in Maine, and West Bend Mutual Insurance Company and ACUITY, both multi-lines carriers headquartered in Wisconsin.The Deep Customer Connections Index measures a carrier’s performance against agents’ expectations when choosing which carrier they will write their business with. In addition to sharing the overall top spot, West Bend earned Top Ten status in every one of 11 key-factor categories.
